(This is a continuation from the initial question on this thread) To have a discount for 2 or more kids, please follow the steps below:

    1. First, we add a counter for how many participants. Add another calculation widget to the form.

    2. The counter will count the number of "Yes" from your Add participants checkbox. Plus 1 as a default value.

    3. Now add calculation values in each of the Add Participants checkbox. Click Surveying and insert 1 on the first line for Yes and 0 on the next line for No.

    4. Now we can add textboxes where we will store the value from the discounts.

    5. Add an update/calculate condition that if the counter is greater than 1, update the Discount field with a value of 30. Here's a guide that can help: How to Insert Text or Mathematical Calculation into a Field Using Conditional Logic

    6. Now we simply update the Total Calculation field by subtracting the values from the discount fields. For the early bird discount, I just inserted a default value in the Early Bird Discount field.

Save the form and we're done with the setup. :) You can clone this demo and test it out on your account: https://form.jotform.com/62648744852972

    Thanks.

What triggers the Early Bird discount? Doesn't show on the form. Is it possible to add a deadline to the discount?

Is it possible to have the amount with 2 decimals?

    Cheers,

What triggers the Early Bird discount? Doesn't show on the form. Is it possible to add a deadline to the discount?

My colleague mentioned in his reply that he just placed a default value for the Early Bird discount. However, this can be done by adding a date field to your form. The date field will have the current date in it.

Then, you'll just have to create a condition that states, "If the date field is before the date for it be considered an early bird registration, then discounts will be applied. If after, then no discount shall be applied."

    Below are scenarios:

    For this form: https://form.jotform.com/62652094177965

The early bird discount that amounts to 20 will only be applied if the registration is BEFORE October 20, 2016. If the registration is AFTER October 20 then no discount shall be applied.

Below are the conditions that were applied to that form:

    As for this form: https://form.jotform.com/62651832000949

The early bird discount that amounts to 20 will only be applied if the registration is BEFORE September 20, 2016. If the registration is AFTER September 20,2016, then no discount shall be applied.

You'll just have to change the date in the condition to indicate the end date of your early discount promo.

Is it possible to have the amount with 2 decimals?

Below is what you need to do to make the Form Calculation Widget  show decimal places:

I hope this helps. Please feel free to contact us anytime if you have any other questions or concerns. Thank you.
