How to obtain form data when the form is encrypted?

I must not have the patience to figure this out. However, I remain stuck.

I want to obtain individual submission data in csv or in an excel spreadsheet. However, anything that I download from Jotform is encrypted. Therefore, I end up with Excel files with gibberish in the cells.

There has to be some kind of workaround here? If I am accessing the data on the Jotform website, and it is appearing to me as unencrypted, why can't I access that data and keep it unencrypted when exported?

Excel, CSV, and PDF downloads are one of the few features that are disabled when the encryption is enabled in the form. The download will work, but the data remains encrypted in the exported file.

To know more about the encryption, we suggest reviewing the following guide:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/344-What-are-Encrypted-Forms-and-how-to-use-them-as-expert

Unfortunately, there is currently no workaround to get it decrypted in the CSV/Excel files aside from manually copy/pasting the data. We have a number of request threads about this matter, but we don't have an update about it yet. Hopefully, our developers would consider the feature. We'll let you know if that happens.
