How do I create a returning student option?Asked by zionacademy on September 24, 2016 at 08:12 PM
I'm looking to create a sign-in sheet for class attendance and such. I would like to be able to provide a return client button to shortcut the sign-in process for returning clients so they don't have to fill in all the blanks time and time again. Maybe use a username as reference, but do you have a way to save the username for future use?
The only solution I could think of is pre-filling the form using URL parameters. However, this can only be done by manually setting it up and then storing the link somewhere for future reference.
You can check this user guide to learn more about prepopulation of fields using the said URL parameters: https://www.jotform.com/help/71-Prepopulating-Fields-to-Your-JotForm-via-URL-Parameters
