Is there any way to control the naming conventions of the pdf files created?

I am using the notification emailer to send a copy of the form as submitted to my client and to myself. It is also sending a copy to my dropbox account

However what I am getting is the long string of numbers for the file name... it looks something like this 350659865981346144.pdf which is fine right up until it hits my dropbox. I have to open each file just to see where it came from or verify the number with the email.

I was hoping to be able to control or set some kind of prefix using the forms fields. Maybe something like Name_Lastname_date_random number.pdf or basically just change it so its not so difficult to identify

My other question is there some way to compress a file that is uploaded? especially pictures I know the user can and then send it to me but if they don't or don't know how is there a way to automate it?

Thanks for your time and well done on a fabulous system here

    Hello Dave,

Please note that every form submissions creates a folder in your integrated dropbox account. It is possible to customize the naming of the folder where the PDF file is being uploaded which will also customize the submission PDF as well. Please check the screenshot below:

You may like to take a look at step "f" in the following guide which should help you: https://www.jotform.com/help/77-Upload-to-Dropbox-with-JotForm

Ahh I totally missed that. Totally works and with the date option added easy peasy... thank you for the info and quick response

Any thoughts on the compression question? Or should I ask that separately?
