Form submissions: Searching a term displaying incorrect number of submission countAsked by cklint on September 26, 2016 at 11:56 AM
When searching our database which is currently 27 pages long... we will do a search... for this example say we are looking for "table"
We search for table and 6 pages of results come back, but as you page through the results.. only pages 1, 2 and 3 show up. It won't advance to page 4 and instead just shows a blank page.
We really need to see all the results. Thanks for your help.
I am able to replicate the issue at my end with your form submissions. However, I have also tested it further with an excel report of the submissions and found that the result is the total number of cells.
The same count is being displayed in the submissions when we search for a term and each page is supposed to display only 25 submissions which is displaying 5 pages.
However, the term table might have repeated more than once and the actual count of the submissions can be less than 124. And so it is displaying the results in 3 pages only and the rest are blank.
Let me forward the issue to our backend team to rectify the count and display the actual submissions count. Once we have any update in this regard, you'll be posted here.
This problem has been fixed.
It was happening because of a bug which counted the number of times the word 'table' occurred in your submissions instead of just counting the number of submissions which contained the word 'table'
The actual count as of now is 58 submissions and your grid is now showing the correct number.
Appreciate the quick response and fix!
