    Shared forms

Asked by dwieler on September 27, 2016 at 09:57 AM

We are currently using a free account to test this tool - the question is that we have a main user and a sub user. Can the main user see all the forms created by the sub or is there a way for the sub to create forms that the main account holder cannot see/edit?

    Thanks

If the sub-user creates forms in the "My Forms" folder of their account instead of the shared folder, the forms will be created in their own account.  Any forms created in their own account will not be accessible by accounts that have shared forms with them.  Any forms created in the shared folder will actually be created in the account that shared the forms.

If the account was added as a sub-user, you may need to convert it to a Free/Starter account from your account settings page in order to be able to create forms in the sub-user account:

Can I ask a related question? Can I move forms from one folder to another? Specifically, we have a user and a sub-user account. Can I move forms from the user to the sub-user?

    Thanks

Forms created in the shared folder will be created in the account that shared it.  Once a form is created, it cannot be moved from one account to another.  Say if the sub-user created a form in the shared folder then wanted that form to be in their own account rather than the account that shared the sub-folder, that would not be possible.

If there are any already created forms that you would like moved from one account to another, let us know and we can move them for you from our end.

Those forms were created in the account "tedloewen".  We can only move forms at the request of the user that currently has the forms.

If you would like those forms moved, please log into that account and make the same request.  Let us know the forms as you did above and the username of the account you would like them moved to.
