I have been editing a form and each time I try to make a change, it doesn't get saved. I try clicking the "save" button but nothing happens.

Hello, I just tried on a test form and the changes are being saved properly and the Save button works too. Here's a short clip showing how I see it from my perspective:
Seeing that the Saving feature works as intended, try logging out of your account then log back in and ensure you only have 1 tab open for the form you're currently editing (e.g. Having 2 or more tabs open for the same form you're working might cause issues. If these are different forms, then it shouldn't be a problem.)
I would also recommend you use Chrome just in case you're using a different browser. Please give it another try and don't hesitate to get back to us if you're still having issues saving changes.
- johnkellygreenAnswered on September 28, 2016 at 10:46 AMHi Jim,
I have tried everything you suggested - Im using Chrome and I only have one tab opened. I even shut down and re-booted my computer, but none of this has helped. The save button does not activate and nothing autosaves. I realize it must be something on my end, but I just have no idea as to what it could be. Do you have any other suggestions? I really want this to work.
- johnkellygreenAnswered on September 28, 2016 at 11:46 AMHi Jim,
I am wondering if my form is too long - can that be an issue?

Hello Leslie, I'm assuming this is the form you're currently working on https://form.jotform.com/62714460851960
I checked that same form right inside your account and the SAVE button worked properly. Note that I haven't done any changes to that form, I merely clicked the button to check it.
To answer your question, no, it shouldn't be caused by the length of your form. Actually your form is not that long compared to others.
One thing to note, I saw a very similar form, with the same name, that is currently on your Trash Folder. It's also named as Room for Conversations Submission Form. From how I see it, you deleted this form and created a new one with the same name.
Seeing that there seems to be nothing wrong with the Save Feature on my own tests and on your actual form, I'd like to know how you're doing your tests/checks.
When you said "the save button does not activate and nothing autosaves" does it not behave the same way as it shows on the short clip above? When you click it, is it stuck on the spinning image instead of showing SAVED?
And if by any chance you're checking the changes on your page/website, can you share us the page/website where you have the form embedded?
- johnkellygreenAnswered on September 28, 2016 at 03:46 PMHi Jim,
Yes, this is the form. I had cloned it and deleted the first one, thinking that might help - but it didnt. What happens when I click on Save is - nothing. The wheel doesnt spin at all. Although occasionally that had happened during this process - it just doesnt happen enough for it to work. I also cant access the Preview button. The others seem to work. This is just mysterious to me! This form isnt posted anywhere - I cant use it until I can work out the glitches. I realize it is something on my end, but I cant figure out what.

Okay, since your issue is somewhat unique, I tried cloning your form, not the current one but the older form you initially cloned then deleted to see if I can find a way to replicate your problem.
- Saving the form itself without changes to it indeed works
- Adding random form fields then saving works too
- Rearranging the fields worked great and saved as well
- BUT when I try to rename a field I previously added, I encountered a problem saving the form
Clicking the SAVE button doesn't do anything just like how you described it. I'm doing further tests right now and will keep you posted as soon as I find out what's causing the problem.

All right, thanks for your patience. I've escalated this to our Devs and although I won't be able to give you any timeframe, rest assured, we'll keep you apprised on this same thread if/when there's an update.
For the time being, since your form isn't posted/embedded anywhere yet, if you need a form completed as soon as possible, I would recommend you create one from scratch. If you get stumped while doing so, don't hesitate to let us know by opening a new thread.
- johnkellygreenAnswered on September 28, 2016 at 07:46 PMHi Jim,
Okay - I really appreciate all your efforts on this. I will just start over. Naturally, I would have preferred not to have to do that, but its okay. I think the glitch might have had something to do with the fact that I have changed it so many times - maybe some of the code just got messed up in the process.
Thanks for your patience as well.

Thank you for the update Leslie. Apologies for the inconvenience of having to start over with the form again. So far we haven't received any news from our developers. We'll let you know on this thread once we get an update from them. Cheers.
