    Purchase order on form

Asked by danzegallery on April 24, 2012 at 02:34 AM

What I need to do is have people choose a class and then the options would be the age groups

The problem is that people will choose the age groups of the class but not check the checkbox which makes their choice invalid

    Hi,

I assumed this is related to your post here.

I checked your form, and I understand what you mean.

What you can probably do is still use the Quantity option beside the Custom option(age group). But make the default value for Quantity to zero(0), so the user will be force to select Quantity of at least 1 if interested on the product. Something similar to my screen sample below. I have Quantity and Age group option for each product.

    Hope this help. Thanks.

Unfortunately I will have the same problem as people will still
just select the age group and not the quantity. Some people do not read
forms correctly. I will continue looking for options
    Thanks for your
    quick response

Ok Nigel. You may inform us if you have it sorted out or if you need further assistance.
    We are here to assist.

The most that can be done actually is to use the source code of the form and apply some javascript function to change the behaviour of the selection box. But that would mean that you will now be using web pages outside the JotForm builder.

    Thanks.
