Does this also apply to the Australian version of Square?

Yes, this should work anywhere that Square payments are accepted.

Unfortunately, it is Square API that is not yet available in your country, Australia. Currently, Square APIs are available only to developers in the United States and Canada. They are still working to make them available in additional countries soon. Once Square has made this update and made it available in your country, our Square integration should work in AU after that.
