    Dear Jotform,

I have encrypted my form.  Does this encryption also apply to files that clients would attach?

    Thanks,

    Anne

Are you referring to the files uploaded through your form? I would like to apologize, however, the files that are uploaded via your form will not be encrypted.

You may also be referring to a different thing, can you help us by giving us more details of your concern, please?

    Thank you.

    Dear Mike,

I was referring to files uploaded through your form.  It seems as if they would not be encrypted.  Is there a way to encrypt them or make them secure?

What security is in place for any attachments that are uploaded through a Jotform?

    Thanks

Thank you for the clarification. Yes, I'm afraid uploaded files will not be encrypted.

However, please be assured that our servers are highly secured and we can guarantee you that your form submissions, including those files that are uploaded through your form, are safe.

I have submitted a feature request on your behalf to also include uploaded files in forms as encrypted if Encrypt Form is enabled. However, I cannot guarantee that this will be available soon. Its feasibility will still be checked and will still undergo the approval process. You will be notified via this thread for updates regarding the request if there are any.
