Migrate form to a different URL

Hello, we migrated some of our forms so we downgraded our account so that we can continue using JotForm to create forms for internal testing purposes only. Is there a way for us to send our customers to a new URL if they attempt to use a form that is no longer active? For the time being, I disabled the form but I want them to know they are on a new/different website? If I enable the forms, can I re-route from there before they fill it out?

    Thank You!

The form URL ID# is always unique. So if you disabled a form i.e. https://www.jotform.com/52017844907963 the user can only see this form as disabled.

If I understand correctly you wanted the user to see a similar form but on a different URL.

You can achieve this by cloning your form instead.

    User guide: How-to-clone-an-existing-form-from-your-account

When you cloned your form, it will make an exact similar form but it will be having a different URL/ID# . You can now redirect your user to the new URL of the form.

You can add the new form URL on your website and the user can use it as well.

Please take note that since it is a new different form, the submissions will be for that form only. So the disabled form and the new form will have separate existing submission data.

You can just combined the submission later if you want to re-activate and continue the old form.

Hope this help. Let us know if there is more we can help you with.

    Regards

    Hi Jonathan,

Can any messages be enabled for us to guide customers to an external URL. We brought our forms in house for the time being so is it possible for us to tell customers, please visit www.examplewebsite.com for the new form link?

Let me know if this makes sense.

    Thank You!

Do you want to use your own domain on the form? (i.e. www.yourwebsitedomain.com

If it is, yes you can. Check the user guide below on how to use your own domain on the form.

Let us know if this is not what you need.

    Thanks.
