Extend the number of days the session is saved for a form to continue later.

    Thank you for the step-by-step of this work around - very helpful! I'm wondering if there is any limit to how long the form is saved. Our form is an application that is open once a year for several months, until the following year. If the same applicant goes back into the application a year later, will their original responses still be accessible?

    If yes, what happens if the form is edited for the following year?

    The session created for a form will be stored for 90 days in the JotForm servers. Since the form is never submitted, the session will be cleared after 90 days and data will be lost. If you need to open the form only once or twice a year, you may consider submitting the form so that the form data will be stored in your account. You may then allow the people to edit the submission later by following the guide below:

    Thank you for your response! That was helpful. I'm wondering if there is any way to increase the amount of time it is saved on the JotForm servers. We are currently using a free account, but would be willing to consider paying something to extend the time our partners are able to access their saved application (before submission). Ideally we would like to have it available for 150 days (5 months).

    Separately, I'm wondering if you could provide me with more information about the option to edit a submitted form. Is there any way to make a form that was submitted by an applicant this year available when the application opens again next year, however with some of the fields cleared. This would be very helpful for the sections of the form that ask for financial information that will change from year to year, but not contact information that likely remains the same.
