Displaying dollar sign in the calculated amount

Asked by Lowcountryvalet on October 03, 2016 at 05:58 PM

I'm having trouble with this. I've followed the instructions exactly but the $ sign still isn't populating. Is there any situation when this will not occur?

I have checked your test form, Test quick quote, and I see you are having the same issue as mentioned in the notes of the setup. Your form is using a Number field for the Total, and a number field cannot contain anything else except numeric values.

If you want to pass a calculated amount with a dollar sign, you must use a regular Text Box field instead:

When setting up a Text Box field as the output of the calculation, it will be able to hold a currency symbol. Please also insert the dollar sign in from of the calculated amount in the condition:

Please try it out and let us know how it goes. Thank you.
