    How do I change the size of text boxes in a specified matrix table without affecting everything?

    Asked by zk1 on April 26, 2012 at 05:26 AM

    Hi there,

    I have a form with four or five matrix tables. I want to increase the text box sizes for only one of the matrix tables. I have tried using the inject CSS method (here) but this changes all of the text boxes on the form.

    Is there a way for me to pick a matrix table within a form, and increase the sizes of the text boxes in it without this affecting all of the other text boxes in other matrix tables?

    Thanks so much for your help!

    Z

    Hi,

    Do you like this to be applied on "Postgraduate" matrix field only? Please let us know so that we can further assist you. Thanks!

    Hi,

    Use this CSS Code, simply inject it to your form:

    #id_21 .form-matrix-values input.form-textbox{

    width:400px !important;

    }

    I just added the "Postgraduate Matrix Element ID" which is #id_21. I get this using Chrome browser then right click the said matrix field and inspect element. If you'd like to learn more, here's how: http://idarktech.com/jotform/video/get_id.html

    Hope this helps. Let me know if you need further clarifications with this. Thanks!

    Hi Amparo,

    Use the following codes. I have separated each codes for each matrices so you can pick the codes you want.

    /*--first matrix field--*/

    #id_347 .form-matrix-values .form-textbox{

    width:400px !important;

    }

    /*--second matrix field--*/

    #id_351 .form-matrix-values .form-textbox{

    width:400px !important;

    }
