We are having an odd problem with the File Upload access for a form. (Screenshot below)

If you click on the PDF attachment in the attachments area, the file is viewable (Green), but if we click to access the file through the body of the email (Red) - it downloads the file, but when you open it, nothing is viewable but the following error:

Is there an easy way to solve this?

    Thanks!

I checked the email that you sent and downloaded the "Request for Time Off" pdf. I was able to see the issue that you were referring to. When I view the PDF on the chrome browser, I see the message below.

Please note that this error means this PDF can only be viewed using Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat. Certain PDF files (dynamic XFA forms) created in Adobe LiveCycle can only be opened in Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat. If you try to open these files in an alternative PDF viewer, such as Foxit Reader or the Chrome browser, then you will see the error message seen in the screenshot. Unfortunately, it's not possible to remove this message and modify the PDF so that it can be opened in alternative PDF viewers. The person who created the original PDF must re-create it using options that do not restrict which PDF viewers can open and display that specific file.

I checked the "Request for Time Off" pdf using Adobe Reader, and I was now able to see the content of the PDF. I would suggest that you do the same on your end and only view the "Request for Time Off"  PDF file using Adobe Reader.

You should be able to view other PDF files using alternative PDF readers without any issue, as the error only appears if the PDF you uploaded was created in Adobe LiveCycle.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
    Regards.
