Populate a field using a already answered forms answersAsked by travcaine on October 07, 2016 at 07:36 AM
I need to pre populate a field by using an already answered form.
For example: I answered a from saying my car's KM is 250 but when i start the next form it must be pre populated.
You can prepopulate fields through the URL parameters. Here's a guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/71-Prepopulating-Fields-to-Your-JotForm-via-URL-Parameters
It is possible to pass the data entered in the field to another form by redirecting the Thank You page to a custom URL. The custom URL will be the 2nd form's URL and the field names/IDs on it. Please check this very detailed guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/351-How-to-Automatically-Pass-Form-Data-to-Another-Form
Hope that helps. If you have any questions, let us know. Thank you.
