Is there any way I can have this date string Sat Oct 08 2016

converted to show Saturday the 8th of October 2016

instead of the short hand it currently shows? When a client selects a date from the native jotform picker I have a second hidden form with the date string. I feel the date string is somewhat unprofessional and I would like to show the full date as suggested above if possible.

I believe you are saying that you wish to show a full written out date.

It's possible to have it written out like this:

But, it seems to be you want the entire thing written out to be more formal about it.

Let me check on this some more to see if there's anything closer to that possibly and then we will get back to you about it as soon as possible.

Does anybody wish to help me out here or is nobody actually bothered about updating this thread?

As per further checking, the only available date string formatting are the two mentioned by my colleague. Currently, we do not have an option that will allow you to format a selected date to "Saturday the 8th of October 2016".

The other way is to get the source code of the form, embed it to your page and apply some Javascript manipulation to obtain the format of date you desire. Please see How to get the Full Source Code of your Form for more details.
