iframe wrong alignment and only half visible

Asked by clarkshealthcare on April 28, 2012 at 09:27 AM

    hello

i have created an iframe with a background image.  i have included it as a template to be used throughout my website.  ot has for some reason moved to the right which is off the page and is ony showing a small part of the image.  it works on only a couple of gaes in my website but for all the rest this wrong alignment and is unusable.

i have used the following setting toembed my iframe into my dreamweaver cs5 template

    <td width="208" height="213" align="left" valign="left"><iframe allowtransparency="true" src="http://form.jotformpro.com/form/21183419596965" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:206px; border:none;" scrolling="no">
    </iframe></td>

i would be very grateful if someone would contact me urgently

    thank you

    michael

    Hi,

Quickly looking at your <td code, I think this part have something to do with it.

    <td width="208" height="213" align="left" valign="left"><iframe allowtransparency="true" src="http://form.jotformpro.com/form/21183419596965" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:206px; border:none;" scrolling="no">
    </iframe></td>

Please try removing all the values within the <td because I think they are not necessary anymore.

No, please delete only this td width="208" height="213" align="left" valign="left"

This should be what is left

    <td><iframe allowtransparency="true" src="http://form.jotformpro.com/form/21183419596965" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:206px; border:none;" scrolling="no">
    </iframe></td>

I tested it here  you may check.

    Thanks.

    Hi Michael,

Can you please confirm if this is the URL of your website where the form is embedded?

    http://www.osteopathy1.com/what%20can%20osteopathy%20treat.html

As of this moment I can still see the iframe and form (see screen)

and the <td codes are still there

So, maybe I am looking at an entirely different page.
    Please confirm URL.

    Will await for response. Thanks.

    Hi
i have not uploaded it to the internet because as you can see from
the two photos i just sent you it deletes the form as well as the
coloumn and messes up the whole thing. i therefore will not upload
it. can you confirm that you have looked at the photos i sent. ( i
    hav reattached them)

We are unable to see attachments when you respond to forum posts via email, you would have to post them to the forum thread for us to see them.

    -

Its very difficult for us to troubleshoot issues like this without seeing the code of the page in which the form is embedded, the problem could be one of a million things.

The table formatting you seem to be using to align elements on your webpage is the most likely cuplrit.

Is there no way you could upload the page to a test page on your website, that wont be linked to from your main site? That would make it a lot easier for us to help.
