Ok, based on what you have stated, what you want is to change the template on the go, but let me tell you this is not possible .

An email template will still show fields including those that are hidden (due to conditions) because the email template is static and cannot change dynamically.

One alternative that I can suggest you, is to create several email notifications, with different email templates, based on conditions.

    For example:

You could setup 3 different notifications (with same email address if you will) that would contain, only the needed fields, in the example below, each email notifications will belong to an email template. The 3 templates I have created are : A Suggestion Notification, A problem notification, a Praise notification

See this guide first, to see more details about how to customize an email template according to your requirements.

Below you have the screen for the "A suggestion notification" , see it will include only what I want to have displayed

Below , you see I  have the 3 email notifications already created.

Then, lets go and create the conditions. See this basic guide.

Choose the option Send an e-mail  after submission (can be the same for all) , in order to stablish a conditional :

The screen below means : If question is  filled , then Send the "A problem notification Template to {e-mail address}.

Keep creating as many as you need, in this example we have the 3 notifications set up for 3 conditionals logic

Hope you sort out your needs with these suggestions

    Jeanette

Something else, if this is the form where you want to accomplish the request, let me think of a possible workaround and will come back to you later
