How can I move data from one form to another?

Asked by tek231 on April 30, 2012 at 12:22 PM

By move data I mean save it and have it automatically populated in another from.  For example, currently I have one large form that handles both registration and payment.  However I would prefer to break this up into multiple forms.  For examle, if a parent registers 2 children in the registration form, can I carry that '2" over tot he payment form so all the selections are automatically set for 2 students?(this is a summer camp registration form)

Hello and thank you for preferring Jotform

If you take a look into our New Form Templates Gallery, you will find several pre-designed forms that you can use and customize to your needs.

In your case , you would need a form with conditional logics

For the purpose you want to accomplish, see how the form named "Swimming Competition enrollment" works .

There is another form called Summer Camp registration that you can use and then setup the conditional logics

You can find both forms under the Sports Category (on the Browse by Industry section)

Make sure you replace the default email notification form by your own one.
