Account Settings: JotForm Footer option is missing for newly created accounts.

Hi,  I have upgraded to bronze, but may still get close to 10,000 form views in a month.  Partly because I have 2 forms on my home page.

I read that I can accept your footer to make the form views unlimited, but your settings page does not look quite like it does in your answer to others on this.

If you've enabled the JotForm Footer this basically is already gives you unlimited form views since it lifts the limit for such even though it is still displayed on your account.

    Please see https://www.jotform.com/help/355-Form-View-Limits-What-is-it-all-about for details.

I have ticked the box for Show "Powered by JotForm", is this the same thing?

So do I now have unlimited form views?

    Thank you

    Chris.

I checked your account and it seems that you have enabled the JotForm Branding option not the JotForm Footer option. JotForm Branding option adds a "Powered by JotForm" below the submit button.

While the JotForm Footer option adds a "Powered by JotForm" and signup link at the bottom of your form.

Enabling the JotForm Branding option does not lift your form view limits. As per checking your account, it seems that the JotForm Footer option is missing. The option is not displayed on your account's setting page. It only shows the JotForm Branding option.

The JotForm Footer option looks like this:

As per further investigation, it seems that the JotForm Footer option is missing for newly created accounts. I will escalate the issue to our development team. We will update you on this thread any updates to the issue.

    Hi there,

Sorry for the confusion. As per further confirmation, the JotForm Footer is no longer available for new accounts. It was replaced by JotForm Branding. Enabling JotForm Branding option will not lift form view limits.

If you need further information, do let us know.

    Regards.

Thanks for clarifying that.  however I feel your pricing model is flawed - at least for us.

We get a lot of visits to the site, but your forms are not used all that often.  We have upgraded from free to Bronze, but the limit on form views may force us to look at leaving JotForm.

This would be a shame as your product is really good and simple to use.

I can see the reasoning for having limits on the number of uses/submissions of the forms, but the views seems arbitrary and not very helpful to either you or us.

Yes, I could move the forms to a page other than our home page, but this would not be so convenient for our users.

    Yours ever,

    Chris Vine.

Thank you for the feedback and our apologies if the Footer and Branding made your confused.

The limit is introduced with a reason which is being posted on this blog post: https://www.jotform.com/blog/191-Announcing-Pricing-Modification-Form-View-Limits. That is already decided and will be kept for everyone. The Footer option is released to allow users to have unlimited form views, but that is also discontinued for new accounts. Old accounts still have the footer option, but I think there is a plan to remove that feature for them as well.

Your current form views limit is 3370. Is 10, 000 form views really not enough? I would suggest monitoring your count and see if you'll reach the limit  or 80 to 90 percent of it within a few weeks. Let us know here so we can check and see if we can do something about it. And yes, you could also move your form to another page so that once someone visits your website homepage, no form views will be counted. You can link the page to a button in your homepage to highlight that the form is there. Well, this is not convenient but would prevent your account from going beyond the limit.
