Can I use JotForm on a squarespace page to upload files dropbox?

I see that there used to be support for this but many of the threads from the last few years are unanswered, so I want to make sure this is still supported. I also need to know if there's a limit on file types or sizes, as I need to be able to accept file uploads up to 4gb.

Hey Josh, the short answer to your question is YES to both. You can embed a form to a Squarespace-powered website and you can have the uploaded files sent over to Dropbox.

However, when creating forms with an upload field, you need to be aware of the upload file size limits (both from our end and on Dropbox's end). I'm afraid accepting up to 4gb of file is not plausible at the moment.

I'm pasting a snippet from our guide regarding upload size limits:

JotForm upload max size = 1GB or less per file (use 1048576 value in KB to set the 1GB limit)

JotForm maximum number of files = Recommended value is up to 25 files per request (submission).

Dropbox = Individual max file size is 300MB. Files over 300MB are not being forwarded to Dropbox, but you can download them from your JotForm storage.

Also, it's worth noting that each subscription plan has its own Available Space limit.
