    iPhone App: Submissions deleted by the sub-user re-appears after relogin

    Hello, I've tried several times and whenever a sub user deletes a submission on the iPhone app, it is removed temporarily from his own app, but it doesn't delete on the main account.  When the sub user logs out and back into the app, the submission reappears.  When the sub user deletes the submission on a computer, it actually deletes permanently.  Could there be a glitch in the deletion of submissions from a sub users iPhone app that would prevent it from permanently deleting or could it be the way I have our account setup? Thanks

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. 

    When I check your sub-user setup, I see that you've enabled View Submissions permission. If I am not mistaken, this also gives them permission to delete the files.

    I have escalated this to our mobile developers so they can further investigate and hopefully fix this as soon as possible.

    We will let you know here once this is resolved.

    We do appreciate you taking the time to report this issue to us and we apologize for any inconveniences that this problem has been causing you.

    Myself and our Mobile Dev have been testing this issue and found that we were able to full replicate the problem as you've described.

    In our findings it seems this issue is due to a problem with our api's access throwing a permission denied error on a parented sub-user account even though the option to allow editing is enabled and functioning normally via desktop.

     

    We're currently investigating this much deeper to try to resolve it if possible so this may take some time but we will update you again as soon as we know more.
