When submitting an iFrame PayPal form, does it submit the parent form on completion?

    Hi,

    Following this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/182-How-to-Create-a-Basic-Multiple-Payment-form

I want to give customers the option of adding an additional product to their checkout.

I will create two PayPal forms - one with the basic product and one with the additional items added.

Using conditional logic, I will show the form with the correct payment options and pricing in an iFrame and hide the incorrect one.

When the user submits the iFrame form, will the outer/parent form be submitted as well?

    Thanks

    Patrick

Hello. I understand that you want your customer to be able to add additional products before checking out. You want to do this on an additional page (a new form) using Iframe. This theoretically possible, how ever I don't have both forms so I couldn't test your situation. But here is a guide to pass total values between forms:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/270-How-to-Pass-a-Form-s-Calculated-Value-to-another-Form-s-Payment-Total-Field

I want to suggest to establish this only using one page. You can use checkboxes and radio boxes to define your products and calculate a total amount in two or three pages. You can show/hide different product selection elements and calculate a total amount which you can pass to PayPal. Here is the guide:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-Pass-a-Calculation-to-a-Payment-Field

Let me briefly tell how to do it:

    - Create your fields: (use calculation widget for element 5)

    - Use conditions to show/hide next products, also you can use page breaks and back/next buttons and use conditions to update/calculate calculation:

Note: You need to select options in show/hide condition properties as in the screenshot above to hide product 2 when there is no selection in radio button.

I hope I can answer your question. If have questions in your mind please feel free to ask.

    Good Luck.
