    Gift Registry Widget: Number are not going down

    I have created a form using the gift registy and the numbers are not being deducted and I know submissions are coming in

    Hello,

    You have set the widget to have unlimited amounts. There is a conflict there. Please solve the issue by deleting UNLIMITED option:

    I deleted the word UNLIMITED but it is still not deducting from the number

    I also tried to remove UNLIMITED and it did not stick. it is just a label and it has nothing to do with your problem. 

    What I have done to fix this problem was to delete the question and re-add it. Then, it started working properly. I am not sure what the problem was, but it is fixed now.

    May I ask which one you fixed?

    Because I think you fixed the Test one not the one we actually need!

     I do not want to loose the data collected so far!!!

     

    Also the ones already entered what will happen will they deduct automatically?

    please do not delete collected data so far

     

    in case you have to please send me the info in an excel file up till the time you change the question

    I checked your account and I only see forms shared with you. Can you please confirm that this is the form you are working on - https://form.jotformeu.com/62842528364360? It is the only form associated with your account with the Gift Registry widget.

    I tested it and it seems to be working. Please see below.

    I checked your form and submitted a test submission using your form. I see that the remaining amount property is not updated.

    When I clone your form and test on my side I couldn't replicate the issue:

    When I inserted to your form a new quantity gift registry widget with the same properties, the new widget works properly. Here is the screen shot of the result:

    The solution for you is to add a new widget. But if you delete your old widget you will loose associated data. Hence to solve this problem you need to clone your form and make necessary updates on it and publish it for use. You need to use the old form to collect your previous submission data. You can export it and then import it to the newly created form.
