tutoringservicesAsked on October 18, 2016 at 10:03 PM
Hi Team,
I wonder is there a way for my customer to be able to download the file from my forum.
For example I want to attach my file to the form, so when my customer has the link to the form they can
download the file that I have attached there.
Is it possible to do so?
Pls let me know.
Thanks -

A way to achieve this is to host the file into your server or store it into a file storage service such as Google Drive or Dropbox. Then add the share link of that file into your form. Please see the steps below:
1. Add a Text field to your form and click Edit HTML
2. Now click the Insert Link button as seen below and paste the share link to the URL field and the text to display. Click Complete to save it.
Save the form and you're all set. Below is an example of how it should look after. Your users can click the link to download the file.
You can check the demo form or clone it to your account by following this link: https://form.jotform.com/62918879827983
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Hi tutoringservices,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can send your uploads as an attachment via your Notification Email. Sending uploads as an attachment to your Notification Emails is easy. Let me walk you through it:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar, click on the Settings tab in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
- In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
- Hover your mouse over the Notification Email element and click on the Pencil icon.
- Under the Advanced tab, toggle Send Uploads as Attachment to the On position.
- Now, scroll down, click on Save, and you're done.
Checkout the screencast below to see my results after I upload a gif to the form I cloned :
Give it a try and let us know if you need any more help.
