Can I create a saved session (Save and Continue Later) without a first form to get their email?

Regarding Saving and Continue work-around (https://www.jotform.com/help/97-How-to-Save-Forms-and-Continue-Later)

Would I get the same result if I added "?session=[randomstringofwordsornumbers]" and sent that particular link to the person filling out the form? (for example, if I already have their email address, I'd just insert the email address for them).

So basically, I would link "https://form.jotform.com/###########?session=X@gmail.com" to the user. There is no need to have Form 1 (the first page asking for their name/email to create a session link) since I already have their email and would manually fill it in for them

    Would this work?

Yes, this is correct. The first form is not required if you create the session link manually, you can basically use anything as a session value.

    Example:

    https://form.jotform.com/###########?session=someUniqueKey

    Thank you.
