is it possible to perform calcualtions in forms

is it possible to have a calculation performed based on user input.

i.e.

Mileage: = 150

x (times) .54 cents per mile

so when the user inputs mileage it will calculate cost / total for mileage 150 * .54 cents = $81.00

please advise.
