Is it possible to show one value of checkbox but save different values in submissions?

Asked by GuyPalinckxLS on October 24, 2016 at 06:17 AM

If I use a checkbox, can I change the value that is should register?

    e.g.  Medical diet (checkbox)

The value that it register is "Medical diet" but I would like to have a "X" if the checkbox with tagged?

    Thank you

    Hello GP,

You may like to take a look at our "Converted selector" widget and see if this fits into your requirement. This will allow you to show the user a set of options to choose from but in the background, associated values will be saved in submission.

Do try it out and get back to us if you have any trouble.

Alternatively, you can assign calculation values to your check boxes under the options for the check box, radio button or dropdown options. Please check the screenshot below:

    Thank you!

On behalf of my colleague, ashwin_d, you're most welcome!

With regards to your other concern, I have moved it to a different thread since it is already about another concern. We believe that we can better assist our users if there will be a separate thread for every question they have.

Please click this link to go to that thread. Thank you.
