Calculation widget not working

Trying to implement a calculation widget of a matrix, followed the instructions located on the Jotform website and still does not work.

We have an evaluation form of radio button answers that we want to value 1-5 and have a calculation at the end to add up those for an average score.

We have answers to questions ranging from Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree. I have set those as values form 1-5. I added the fields to the calculation widget and calculated the fields for addition. I have also made these values hidden. I have done all of this through the instructions on Jotform.

When I go to test the form, the calculation widget does not work at all. I followed each step and am unsure why the widget still isn't working. Would like some help on how to fix this.

I cloned your form to test it and it looks like you are adding the field as text over an over.  Click on the "+" signs in your equation to turn them black:

This means it will add the values together instead of combining them into a single statement.

Here is how the form would work with the changes made:

I updated the first widget and it now functions the way you are looking for it to.
