I cannot see all fields when the form is emailed to the selected email address, how do I fix this?

    Previously, we would see all fields sent to us in the email and now one section is not coming through anymore. How do we fix this? And can we look back on forms and get this missing section instead of getting all those people to re-fill out the forms?

    Section 4.6 of our Medical History form is what is missing when it comes through on email but it is still there on the form to fill out.

    Please take note also that since 'Hide Empty Email Fields' was enabled on your form https://www.jotform.com/61860044432853 , it is normal that the empty fields will not appear in the email message if you are using a default email template (for Notification and Autoresponder)


    If the field/question doesn't have answer, it will not be included in the email message.


    Does the email that have missing  Section 4.6  have submission? I see that field question is not mandatory/*required, which means it can be left blank.

    I have changed the "Hide Empty Fields" selection. 

    However, the people filling out the forms had selected entries in section 4.6.

    I cloned your form and did some tests there. It looks like the section 4.6 successfully appears on the email when it is filled. I can't seem to replicate the issue that you encountered.

    The two matrix fields on section 4.6 do not have any labels, so they will appear as empty spaces in your email when they are not filled by the user. If you want Section 4.6 to be filled by the user, I would suggest that you set it as Required.
