We are trying to put together a database of alumni from our school.  We have a bunch of info already in an Excel sheet so what we would like to do is have a form for people to fill in and if their name is already in our database, along with address, etc. we want it to display the info we have on file and allow them to then simply make corrections where needed.

    Is this at all possible?

    Thanks for your help!

When you have created your JotForm form, you can easily import your existing data into the form's submissions by using our Import app:

However, it might be a little trickier to show them their existing data so they can update it. Does your existing data contain their email addresses?

If so, it would be possible to import submissions, and then send each of them an email containing the edit link for their (imported) submission data. So the people with existing data could update their data from the links in their email, and the rest would simply submit new submissions on your form.
