when editing a form I did see a issue that it wont let me add a credit card using the stripe widget. is there anyway to do that?  We sometimes get people wanting a quote, but then they come back and give us a credit card later.

If I understand correctly, you want to collect the customer's credit card on stripe without charging them? To achieve this, you will have to enable the Payment Authorization on the Stripe integration. You can follow this guide on How to Enable Payment Authorization.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.

That is not correct. I can collect the customer card on my form. What my issue is if I want to go back and edit the form the stripe widget wont let me enter information in. That is my problem. CAn it be fixed?

Are you referring to the Stripe integration on this form (https://www.jotform.com/form/62388791050157)?

I see that you are referring to editing the details of the Stripe field on a submission. Unfortunately, editing the data in the Stripe payment field is not possible. The editing of the payment field is disabled intentionally to avoid conflicts, and to ensure the security of the user's payment.

You will have to ask the user to make another submission if they want to input different details in the Stripe field.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
    Regards.

this is an internal form for our staff.  So that is fine but is there a way to repopulate all the data except for the stripe into a normal form. So we dont have to retype a previous prospect again?

I would like to inform you that you will still be able to edit the rest of the data on the submissions, so you do not need to retype the previous prospect again. Only the Stripe payment field is disabled when you edit the submission. When you are finished editing, simply submit the form again and the form should have the updated data. However, the information in the Stripe field will remain the same.

If you want to transfer the submission data into another form, you will first need to export the submission data into a CSV or Excel file. Then follow this guide on how to us the Import Data appImport App: Easily import your Excel or CSV data into JotForm
