Is it possible to set a maximum number of characters or words for the Configurable List widget's Textarea?

Hi, Is it possible to set a maximum number of characters or words for the text area in this widget? I know it's possible with the default text areas. Thanks.

I'm afraid that's not possible. The widget only allows customization to as far as declaring which fields you want to be displayed on the widget. It doesn't accept any options nor parameters to assign a max value for chars/words as opposed to the default Textarea field.
