How to edit submissions that include a payment option?

    Hi!

I want to edit some information for some of my submissions BUT the form also includes a Stripe payment. I don't want to charge someone double or resend the email responder - I just need to either update names or email addresses.

What happens if there's a payment option on the form when I edit?

    thanks!

    Hi,

You can simply edit your submissions that has a payment integration on it, it won't initiate a charge again to your user. Here's a sample screencast:

You can see on my screencast that once you edit a submission in the submissions page, the payment field is uneditable and does not include any data on it. This also applies if you use the edit link. Please note that JotForm does not store credit card information on our servers, which is why we have a direct integration with 3rd party payment processors like Stripe, that's where the payment details are stored securely.

With regards to the email autoresponder, if you do not wish to resend the autoresponder email, you need to disable the "Send on Edit" option:

    I hope that helps.
