    Matrix acting funny in Chrome

    Asked by The_Mighty_Optiq on May 08, 2012 at 12:07 AM

    I just installed Google Chrome as suggested and am having a problem with the Matrix...

    Here's a pic of it in Firefox

    Now here's what it does in Chrome

    it does it wherever I have just two cells.....  a while back somebody gave me a CSS code to tweak the matrix and I've been modifying it trying to make it all line up properly and it goes as follows

    .form-matrix-values {width:114px; padding-left:1px; padding-right:1px;}

    /* 1st Column */
    .form-matrix-row-headers +.form-matrix-values .form-dropdown

    {width:114px; padding-left:1px; padding-right:1px;}

    /* 2nd Column */
    .form-matrix-row-headers +.form-matrix-values +.form-matrix-values .form-dropdown

    {width:114px; padding-left:1px; padding-right:1px;}

    /* 3rd Column */
    .form-matrix-row-headers +.form-matrix-values +.form-matrix-values +.form-matrix-values .form-dropdown {width:114px; padding-left:1px; padding-right:1px;}

    /* 4th Column */
    .form-matrix-row-headers +.form-matrix-values +.form-matrix-values +.form-matrix-values +.form-matrix-values .form-dropdown

    {width:114px; padding-left:1px; padding-right:1px;}

    .form-matrix-row-headers {visibility: hidden;}
    .form-matrix-table {margin-left:-20px; border-collapse:inherit;}

    Are there any errors in my code that could be causing this problem?  The link to the form is

    ok i just discovered the problem..... it does that because I have "shrink" selected in the properties... but without it shrunken the two cells span the whole width of the form... which I don't want... how do I fix this?

    EVERYTHING WORKED GREAT!!!! THANKS!!!! :).... there's just one thing though... the last matrix cell in the brown category isn't targeted... I tried calculating it out n adding it in but it didn't work the way I though....  there should be one between #id_2764 and #id2963 if I'm not mistaking...

    Glad it works!

    Ok, try adding this ID under one column. #id_3491

    It should look like this:

    /*--one column--*/

    #id_3491, #id_2764, #id_2963, #id_3310{

    width: 117px !important;

    }

    Sorry for mislooking at it :). Thanks!

I just realized I have other forms with this same issue and I need to go in and do this with them as well.... if it's possible I'd like to know how to figure out which is which so I can just go through and do them rather than having to past all the links in here n have you go through it all..  thanks again for all your help!!! :)
