We have been receiving 1kb files periodically instead of the correct size

Asked by ddubois4060 on November 02, 2016 at 12:43 PM

On some of the uploads from our clients, we have received 1kb files instead of the file size the client was uploading. This is random but we have had quite a few instances of this happening over the last couple of weeks. Can someone help with this issue please

    Thank you

I don't see any issues with your form settings that would cause this. The only thing I think is the way how the form is embedded. You are using the default which is a Javascript method and this may have caused a conflict in the page then causing you the problem. Please try re-embedding the form using our iframe method: https://www.jotform.com/help/148-Getting-the-Form-iFrame-Code. If it's a conflict, the iframe should fix it. Let us know if the issue persists after.

I have to admit, I am at a loss. You pointed me to where to get the iFrame code, however, I am not sure where to paste it. I am not a programmer, so I am afraid of making a mistake. Please assist me on where this iFrame code needs to be pasted to help eliminate my errors.

    Thank you

You should copy your iFrame code and paste anywhere between body tags:

And you can't make any mistake, it only matters where you paste(between the body tags) because of position on your web page.

It is good practice to copy your iFrame code only between the iframe tags:

If you have any further questions please let us know, we'll be glad to help.

    Thank you!
