    Hi Kiran an tipsy,

i would like to join you here. Is there any solution for this? Could i use my custom domain to show "just" a form, not your HP? Pointing/Mapping to your service via my domain could create a special state of responsibility for me as domain owner. I have used other web-tools like this and was able to redirect them to my section at that services.

    Thanks in advance, Jaro

I am not sure if I understand your query correctly. When the DNS settings of your domain is changed as per the guide below, you should be able to view the forms using your domain.

    https://www.jotform.com/help/144-How-to-use-Custom-Domains-with-Jotform

This is a solution for accessing the forms using your own domain instead of default JotForm domain.

Please let us know what exactly you are referring to display only form and HP so that we can provide you with necessary assistance.

    Thank you!

    Hello Kiran.

That is right and works well. I mapped www.bauprofis-check.de via CNAME to custom.jotform2.com and my deep-link (my form) is shown properly via the ID or the full speaking URL: http://www.bauprofis-check.de/DieGutachter/karlheim-bauprofis-checkde

    BUT

If someone wants to check out the pure domain (like "Hey, maybe there are more services like this, or maybe there is more info") and checks out www.bauprofis-check.de directly, my customer will eventually load the jotform-homepage.

    That is bad because of:

    a) Other Companies will find out easily how i managed to create that kind of service in a few minutes/hours (well – good for you, but not for me ;) )

    b) I am the owner of the domain and I am responsible for the content shown at this domain, but – well i can't be, because it's your content ;).

I will try it the other way: is there an option to map a custom URL to just ONE form of mine, so

www.mydomain.com will lead to www.jotform.com/MyStuff/myform/ only?

The guys at smugmug has a solution like this, check out Step 3 (DIY) on their site:

    http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93340-how-do-i-use-my-custom-domain-

Did i miss something, or is there a solution for this at Jotform?

    Thanks again,

    Jaroslaw Kollar

I understand. Since the DNS settings create an alias to JotForm website with your domain, it will be redirected to JotForm website. So, it is recommended to use a sub-domain like forms.domain.com, etc.

www.mydomain.com will lead to www.jotform.com/MyStuff/myform/ only

Unfortunately, this is not possible since the CNAME would require a valid zone and it cannot be a complete URL.

The other solution would be embedding the form on a web page that is hosted on your web server. We also provide with the full source code of forms so that you may create a new file in your hosting provider and embed the form. This would display the form on your web page normally using your own domain name. However, if you have made any changes to the form you'll need to get the source code of the form again and replace the existing embed code on your web page.

    Hope this information helps!
