Hover Text: Line breaks/Return carriage shows as <br> <br/> tags in plain text in hover texts.

Hi, recently line breaks have been showing as <br /> in hover texts and titles. Previously, I could hit 'return' at the end of a line in a hover text to add a line break and the hover text would correctly display this line break to the user. Currenly, it replaces that line break with <br/>. In titles, I could type <br> where I wanted a line break and this would create a line break, but as of late, that <br> code is also replaced with <br />, and the line break is gone. I'd like to be  able to add line breaks (and empty lines) in those enviorments.

    Please advise.

    thank you!

    tony

I have tried to do some test and I was able to reproduce the issue you're having with form field's hover texts.

I will forward this concern to our development team so they can take a look at the issue. However, I'm sorry if I cannot provide any ETA to when this will be fixed. But, please be assured that you will be notified via this thread for updates if there are any.

    Thank you.

Any update on this line break HTML issue? I see multiple threads/posts on the topic and it seems to be a common occurrence that needs to be resolved.

This issue has been resolved - line breaks can be used within Hover Text bubbles.

You can use any of the following HTML elements within your Hover Texts: <img>, <br>, <p>, <strong>, and <a>. Any other HTML elements will be stripped out due to security measures.

Please test it on your end, and let us know should you need further assistance.

Was trying to add line breaks to my Hover Text Bubble, and am experiencing the same problem. Whether via code or line space the system just merges everything into 1 long sentence.
