    Hi,

We have made a jotform, that has gotten too slow. There is a lot of conditional logic.

Will an upgrade help the bandwiths problem?

Secondary question: is there a live chat / phone support, if youy're having trouble figuring out how to get the Calculation Form Widget to do the desired calculation?

    Best Regards

    Nikolaj

I have checked your account and there are no forms available in it at the moment. Are you referring to any form in another account? Please be noted that when the form is loaded in the browser, it loads all the fields along with the conditions to the browser storage. Each time a field with conditions is accessed, form checks for all the conditions that is having the field. If you have enabled the Auto-fill feature (Continue forms later) in the form preferences which could be also causing the lag since auto-fill stores the filled information in the browser storage.

All the forms including from the upgraded accounts will be accessed from the same server and upgrading doesn't provide any additional bandwidth.

Unfortunately, we are not offering telephone support at the moment. This support forum is our primary support and your questions will be answered in a timely manner. We do offer chat support. However, it is enabled when we have a manageable traffic to the support forum.

Please provide us with the form URL so that we can take a look and provide you with necessary assistance. Thanks!

I have checked your JotForm and see that there are 138 conditions set on your form. I also notice that most of the conditions are set to hide more than 125 fields based on the rules. As already mentioned each time a field is changed, form checks for each condition set on the form which should be causing the issue.

Also, it is not required set both hide and show on the same condition.

We have made a Jotform that has gotten too slow Image 1 Screenshot 20

You can choose the action Show only so that the field will be automatically hidden when the rule set is false. Please review the conditions once again to simplify so that the form should be working fine.

Also, there is auto-fill feature enabled on your form. You may consider disabling it and use session parameter method to see if that helps.

Let us know if you need any further assistance. We will be happy to assist.

We have tried everything in regards to removnig all "hide multiple" rules and replace it with one "show" rule, but it doesn't seem to work. It shows all options when testing!

It it a generic setting you are talking about?

Please allow me some time to check on the conditions and get back to you later.

    Thank you!

Have you had time to check the conditions? I still cant get the Jotform to show only one without choosing to hide all of the other options. And this is where it gets very slow =/

    Hello Sjoberg,

My colleague is currently not available online but he will get back to you once he is back online.

I also checked your form and it does have 139 conditions but I believe the issue is caused because of the "Auto Fill" setting you have enabled in your form. Please note that auto fill setting saves the input data every few seconds in browser cookies. I would suggest you to please disable the auto fill setting and see if that solves your problem:  https://www.jotform.com/help/227-How-to-Enable-Auto-Fill-on-Forms

    Thank you!

Okay, I have disabled the auto-fill and still experiencing some lack - but that may be just due to the 139 conditions? Isn't it normal, though, to have this amount of conditions? We have 8 different products in four different order sizes and 4 different intervals, so that naturally brings the outcomes up there :-)

But I still cant get the "if ALL" conditions to actually only show that one outcome. Right now, they show all outcomes for some reason =/

I test using your form https://www.jotformeu.com/form/62925129288364 but I could not encounter the slow down in using the form

Can you describe more the steps on how to see the form will slow down? What are the options that needs to be chosen on the form.

Let us know if issue still persist.

    Thanks.

Ok, no I think the speed issue actually is fixed after I unched the autofill!

This form is the most recent one: https://www.jotformeu.com/form/63183083078357?preview=true

This is how the form works:

Q1: "I løbet af en dag, i hvor høj grad er du berørt af ufrivillig vandladning?"
Depending on what category you choose, you have to choose between two brands of the same product.

Q2 and Q2: "Hvor ofte .." and "Hvor mange måneder.."
Here you choose amount and frequency in delivery.

If Q1, Q2, and Q3 ALL equal to one of the options in each, one specific plan is supposed to be presented.
I have checked all conditions, and they are all set to show one specific plan with all combinations, but right now multiple product plans appear when answering all q's.

Fx. are four different product plans shown with Q1:=1, Ultra mini serie = Abri-light Ultra mini, Q2 = 1 and Q3 = 1
    "Abri-light extra 1mnd - 2innlegg",
    "Abri-light extra 12mnd - 2innlegg"
    and "Abri-light 1mnd - 2innlegg"

    ... are all shown.

Furthermore each plan has to represent a value (a price) which needs to automatically appear in the total price field at the bottom, so you can check out using a payment method.

FYI, I have fixed tha problem of multiple product plans showing, ultimately it was about going through everything again after we reversed our logic.

Now, I need to assign each outcome with the specific price of that plan and automatically transfer it to the price field. How is that done easiest? I dont seem to solve the problem by following this tutorial: https://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-Pass-a-Calculation-to-a-Payment-Field

But it's not quite the same in this case.

    Do you understand the problem?

    Hi Nikolaj,

Thank you for taking the time updating us on the status and letting us know that the original issue was now resolved.

Do let us know if you have further question about it.

Since the new question was about a different feature, we will resolve it separately here https://www.jotform.com/answers/990089
