    How can I make a form for a limited number of subscriptions?

    Asked by CesarGuimaraes on May 10, 2012 at 09:28 AM

    How can I make a form for a limited number of subscriptions?

    For example, I have 20 seats to a talk and when I complete those 20 subscriptions I would like to stop the form.

    Is it possible?

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, this feature is still in process. We had this feature before but it's currently disabled as it causes some server issues. We are going to re-implement it soon. I can't say when but we'll surely update you here if this gets implemented again.

    Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

    Could the unique ID field possibly have the option to subtract, rather than add (increment) each time the form is submitted?   If the unique ID could then be made to be displayed in the form to the user, the user would effectively see the remaining number of spaces left (assuming each form submission counted as a 'booking') ?

    Just a thought...

    @scotsail

    Your idea is pretty clever, but is currently not doable with JotForm becaus:

    a. The unique ID field cannot decrement its value
    b. The unique ID field cannot be displayed inside the form

    A workaround would be to display the total number of submissions inside the form such as in these examples:
