Is it possible to remove filename/URL from File Upload field on downloaded PDF?

Asked by ChrisHaslett on November 09, 2016 at 04:38 PM

I have a form with File Upload widgets so the user can send in photos.  When I download the submission as PDF I get a clickable filename which links to the photo on the Jotform server.  Is there any way to prevent this filename for showing up or prevent the hyperlink from appearing?

Unfortunately you cannot. When including the Upload field data in the PDF report it always includes the URL/link of the file as well.

You can refer to this same discussion thread about this.

Let us know if there is more we can help you with.

    Thanks.

Hmm too bad.  I would prefer if it were user-selectable as to whether or not the hyperlink info gets published to PDF.  Guess I'll have to look at removing the hyperlinks using a PDF editor.
