    Payment wizard required validation issue

    Hi guys i have a payment wizard issue on two of my forms, basically i have a list of products where the customers can choose a number of products, theres no required products

    But right now they cant submit the form since its telling them they need to fill all the fields of the wizard.

    Sorry for the delayed response. Our support forum had been quite full busy nowadays. We also aim to improve more on our response time.

    I checked on your form https://www.jotformpro.com/form/61036833658965?preview=true and I noted that the payment options were already selected by default and the payment was also set to *Required.

     

    Since the *Required validation is enabled on the payment tool, it becomes mandatory or required.

    Please take note that even if the main item was already pre-selected, it is still required for the Quantity to be filled in for the sub-products items. This is how the required validation script work.

    The user will need to satisfy the Required validations before they can submit the form.

    Hi, i changed the settings so the products are no longer pre-selected this fixed it on computers but users on mobile are still unable to submit orders :(

     

    Did the widget changed? cause i have this forms working with the pre selected products for months and this is the first time we had this issue,

    Since your form is not available, I made a cloned version of it so I could perform a test on mobile.

    So far, I don't see any problem. The required validations are working as expected. 

    Example: When you select a product leaving the quantity dropdowns empty or zero, it would ask for a valid value (at least 1 quantity).

    You can see the difference between the two. Both are selected but the second product quantities are zeros so it triggers the required validation. Selecting a product without quantities does not really make sense, you can unselect the product otherwise if you don't want it.

    I think this is how it works for quite some time. The behavior recently was probably an undiscovered glitch and has already been corrected.
