I believe each payment processor has their own period of time, according to this post, Stripes gives 7 days, but let me forward this question to our second level to get a more accurate answer.
It does not work for Ta's. primary reason is once you capture the credit crd info STRIPE doesn't let you view the entire credit card number so you cant then pass to supplier. Also if you use the charge later feature it still puts a hold on the card for the amount which can be bad if the client only has a limited amount of credit available. Best option is to upload a PDF fillable credit card authorization form to your form and then have clients fill that out and email or fax to you outside of Jotform.

Yes the possibility to charge the user is 7 days. After that the token should expire.
