- nickbhAsked on November 15, 2016 at 03:21 PMOn another slightly different question? I am using this method as the dual list widget cannot “accept” data through a query string.
Obviously the standard picklist can.
I have successfully passed the data I need to prepopulate the the picklist, but so far I can only pass 1 option from the data?
Ie I would like to pass a selection. In “andorralocations” I would like to pass Arinsal,Canillo and EL Tarter for example.
So far I can only prepopulate with one field? What separate should I use in the query string to send multiple values?
I have tried ;

Unfortunately, it seems that we do not currently support the dropdown prepopulation with multiple options. I have sent a feature request ticket to our developers.
We cannot provide any ETA for when it can be implemented, but we will let you know if we have any updates.

Ah. This is a shame. I actually recreated this form as a workaround for the shortcomings of another form with the dual list box widget- > See > https://www.jotform.com/answers/984857-Dual-List-Box-Widget#5
As a result and looking at all the options I am struggling to find a method by which I can pass information to any multi-options picklist?
So yes please if you can escalate to the development team. Im sure it would be a very welcome and useful addition. If I had to choose a preferred development it would be to allow multi options to be sent as a query string to the "Dual List Box" widget. But would be happy either way.
Many Thanks Nick

My colleague already forwarded this ticket to our developer's team for a possible implementation of this feature. As he said we can not give you an ETA for this but rest assured that we will inform you through this thread when we receive any update.
Regarding your question, I can only think of checkboxes as multi-select field to prepopulate through URL, you can refer to this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/71-Prepopulating-Fields-to-Your-JotForm-via-URL-Parameters
If you have any further questions regarding that please open a new thread so we keep this one independent since it is escalated already.

I am just reviewing the form that I had to use the source code from and create a workaround and it occurred to me that there may have been some updates?
So my question remains:
Is any of the following yet possible?
A)The pre-population of multiple selected options in a drop-down list?
B)The passing of multiple options to either the
1) Visual Multi Select Widget or
2) Dual List Box?
As mentioned previously this would be very beneficial as every time I change my form I have to re-embed a great deal of additional source code.

Unfortunately, none of the options is available at the moment. The most closer one to be implemented is drop-down field since it is very hard to happen with widgets. Widgets work in a separate iFrame so they are not like regular fields.
We'll inform you once/if the feature becomes available.
Thank you for your understanding.
