Hi
I've added the two forms below to my plugins for use in my Wordpress site but the Jot Form icon does not appear when I go into a page to edit - can you give me a hint what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!

Hi,
I am able to see it here. It is available when you embed the "Embed Form" plugin from JotForm.
So when you add post or page, you'll find it in the editor.
Clicking the pencil icon will open up a popup dialog that will load all your forms if you're already logged in to JotForm.
If the pencil icon is not showing on your end, try to re-install the "Embed Form" plugin first, see if this helps.
By the way, since you are already using the "Embed Form" plugin, you can remove or deactivate the JotForm oEmbed plugin. It is not necessary to have them both. :)
Thanks!

Thank you! It works now with a new page but doesn't appear on existing pages and I want to add a form to an existing page. Can you advise?
Thanks.

Have you tried deactivating and activating the plugins again? It might be related to Wordpress not updating the interface because of new released version. Also, as advised by my colleague, please do make sure to only have one plugin active, deactivate the other plugin related to JotForm.
Another way to embed forms aside from the plugins is by using the iFrame embed code, you can simply paste it in the "Text" tab. Here's a guide on how to get the iFrame code: https://www.jotform.com/help/148-Getting-the-form-iFrame-code
Let us know if that helps.

I deleted both plugins. Reinstalled Embed Form.
Restarted computer, closed site and the still the same - available on new page but not existing page.
The instructions in the iFrame-code page you sent are unclear to me. I do not see a toolbar with the word "publish" on it.
Any ideas?

Hello Kirsty,
If I understand you correctly, you can't find the Publish button. It is located near the Emails button and Thank You button. Here's a screen animation:
Here's the guide how to embed your form using the iFrame method: https://www.jotform.com/help/148-Getting-the-form-iFrame-code
Hope that helps. If I have misunderstood your concern, please feel free to contact us again.

Hi
Thanks for this. For the less savvy of us it might be worth putting in a couple of extra steps to the instruction - ie. open the form first!
Anyway - I put the code in. The icon now appears when I'm in the first edit page. However, when I try to use the Page Builder or Thrive Themes it does not appear. And this is how I want to use it. See screenshots below of what I mean.

I noticed from your screenshot that you also have a Contact Bank Form plugin. It may be possible that the Contact Bank plugin is conflicting with Jotform plugin. Can you please try temporarily disabling the Contact Bank plugin and see if the Jotform plugin still doesn't appear on Page Builder?
Please let us know how it goes.

Hi again
No - that didn't work. See below for the list of my plugins and their activation status - is there anything else it might be?

Unfortunately I do not have Thrive themes so I am unable to test the plugin there. Can you please check your console and send us a screenshot to see if there are any errors that is causing the jotform plugin to not appear when using Thrive themes? You can open the console on Chrome by pressing Cmd+Opt+J (Mac). You can also check this guide for more info on Using the Console.
Please post the screenshot of the console to this thread so we may check it further.
Thank you. -

I'm afraid those screenshots didn't help much, by colleague meant that you should take a screenshot of the browser console when you are on the editing page where the JotForm pencil for adding a form is not showing, and should be showing.
For example, this would mean a copy of the browser console from this page:
Based on the names and functionality of your plugins, it might be that Beaver Builder plugins or the Thrive Visual Editor plugin are the ones preventing our plugin from displaying its icon on the page editor of your Wordpress installation. This is because those plugins customize the way you edit your pages, and as such, their customization could be preventing JotForm's Form Embed plugin from adding pencil-shaped icon for adding new forms.
Please use the Text Editor of Wordpress when adding your JotForm forms to a page while also using those editor-customizing plugins.
I hope this helps.
