Same problem here....
Not keeping the custom layout - making your service useless for contracts etc.
Its just error upon error with you guys at Jotform.
Really wished that you could make a better service, and at least make some quick bug fixes, when the appear.
Can see this has been flagged in July which is 4 months ago, and still has'nt been fixed.

Apologies for the inconveniences this may have caused to you.
I have checked your active forms and I can see they have the default PDF layout, I have tested this on my end and I can see the custom layout I have set in my form is being successfully saved.
However, could you please provide us one of your forms where this problem is happening?
Once with the link we will clone it and try to replicate the problem on our end, we will also test in your form if possible, if not, you could also share us some screenshots about how you customize your PDF report and how it looks when downloading it or when going back to the customization page.
We'll wait for your response.
