How can I change the language in the print box?

Asked by tonycheston on May 12, 2012 at 10:14 PM

    Hi there,

I am a pretty new customer and am still feeling my way around things. I am developing a homepage in two languages and have come across a problem I can't find a solution to, maybe you can help me. I have made a form "Card Replacement" and have cloned it to make a Korean version. There are a few things that I am not so happy with.

    1. The number 500 appears too big, it is larger than the brackets. I can't find a way to make it smaller.

    2. The months and the countries are in English. I would like to have the months in Korea. How can I change that?

    3. The "submit" and "print" buttons are in English I would like to change that to Korean. Is it possible? If so how?

    4. Now on my updated form I cannot see the print and submit buttons.

    I use mac OS X 10.6.8 and iWeb 3.0.4

    Thanks for a great site

    Tony

    1. The number 500 appears too big, it is larger than the brackets. I can't find a way to make it smaller.

    1. Load the form into the form builder and click the free text field containing the "500"

    2. Click the HTML button in the form builder's toolbar

    3. If you search for the 500 you will see that it is wrapped in span tags. The size of the 500 is dictated by the value 18.0px. Change the number to something smaller, save the form and view it. If it's still not right, keep editing the value until it is.

    2. The months and the countries are in English. I would like to have the months in Korea. How can I change that?

As there is currently no way to accomplish that in the form builder, the form's full source would have to be copied from the Embed Form Wizard and the values in the drop down selectors to which you have referred changed to Korean before embedding the source into your web page.

    3. The "submit" and "print" buttons are in English I would like to change that to Korean. Is it possible? If so how?

Although the submit button's text can be edited in the form builder, the print button's text cannot. As is the case with the months and countries, the print button's text would have to be edited in the copy of the form's source acquired from the Embed Form Wizard.

To change the submit button's text, click it, click the Submit Text button, change the text, click "OK" and save the form.

    4. Now on my updated form I cannot see the print and submit buttons.

We would need to see the web page to give a definite answer but the second link provided in this article in our user guide may prove useful.
