It seems to me that you're asking if development on a feature for tracking submission changes according to your initial response in this thread https://www.jotform.com/answers/246003 were ever made by our developers.
To answer your question unfortunately, no this was not implemented with the exception of a feature we do have for sending an email every time the form submission is edited for comparison.
I can raise another request for this on your behalf if you wish for our developers to look at and consider but, there is no guarantee since it is primarily based on existing workload, demand, and the benefits it'd have for the rest of our users.
If you have a verbal example of how your workflow might possibly benefit from and to help others somehow that might possibly help to justify it.
