I attempted to follow your "Workflow" work around I read about in another thread. I have a few hidden fields that are visible once the supervisor edits the submission and enters a passcode.
The dropbox integration creates a folder and pdf with the hidden fields not showing (in the original submission). Once the supervisor edits the submission, the hidden fields are now visible and contain text. However, dropbox is creating a separate folder (with the same titles) and the new pdf still has all the hidden fields not showing.
The emails (with send upon edit selected) are showing the edits correctly however.
I found that my pdf's were customized and after clicking reset I was able to find a solution
